Rainbows of Joy

Project Autism handed over $700 to the 'Rainbows of Joy' charity - The Joy of Learning. This wonderful charity helps families afford needed therapy in the community and today Mr Mark accepted money on behalf of the kids. It's important to realize that this money was raised by our 'Next Step - work training team'. These young people worked hard at the community BBQ. And we want to thank our food prep, hostess, and servers for doing such a great job. Our community rocks! Well done everyone!

PASS – Project Autism Summer Soccer

There is honestly nothing better than watching children and young adults play on a field of grass first thing in the morning. The sun is warm enough to soothe your shoulders, while birds whistle in the air. You can hear bursts of laughter, grunts of physical exertion and yelling as each athlete go through the obstacle course and warm up before a game. From dexterity, balance to force and momentum, this great community program takes care of everything. Coaches are supportive and fun. Our young volunteers earning their hours are brilliant, and we are so proud to watch them developing skills of compassion, friendship, and acceptance that is going to influence them for a lifetime. This is why our PASS program offers the BEST Saturday ever and you never see an unhappy face.

Let’s JUMP at Rockin Jump !!

I have to share that last night was an active event for our whole community. With over 25 families we had so much fun letting off steam at this amazing place called Rockin' Jump - Burlington There was trampoline jumping, rock climbing (or bouldering), dodging balls, hoops, Jousting and lots of laughter. Special thanks to the great staff at Rockin Jump and inclusive environment that they offer - everything was a success. But what made this evening so much fun was that we also hosted a book swap, or SWOP as Ms Judith calls it. This event encourages literacy and motivates our kiddos to learn and build a positive relationship with books and words.
