PASS – Project Autism Summer Soccer

There is honestly nothing better than watching children and young adults play on a field of grass first thing in the morning. The sun is warm enough to soothe your shoulders, while birds whistle in the air. You can hear bursts of laughter, grunts of physical exertion and yelling as each athlete go through the obstacle course and warm up before a game. From dexterity, balance to force and momentum, this great community program takes care of everything. Coaches are supportive and fun. Our young volunteers earning their hours are brilliant, and we are so proud to watch them developing skills of compassion, friendship, and acceptance that is going to influence them for a lifetime. This is why our PASS program offers the BEST Saturday ever and you never see an unhappy face.

Let’s JUMP at Rockin Jump !!

I have to share that last night was an active event for our whole community. With over 25 families we had so much fun letting off steam at this amazing place called Rockin' Jump - Burlington There was trampoline jumping, rock climbing (or bouldering), dodging balls, hoops, Jousting and lots of laughter. Special thanks to the great staff at Rockin Jump and inclusive environment that they offer - everything was a success. But what made this evening so much fun was that we also hosted a book swap, or SWOP as Ms Judith calls it. This event encourages literacy and motivates our kiddos to learn and build a positive relationship with books and words.

Free Community Programs

Three hundred and sixty five FREE community opportunities - Classes, workshops, that include both education and sports programs etc. Just think about it. There are 365 days in a year, that's how many amazing opportunities we as an organization have dedicated to the children and adults in our communities. You see, it takes a grassroots like Project Autism to stand up against what is deemed the norm, especially in the charity world. When we first started people told us it was impossible. No one can do what you want to do without money. We are powered from within, born out of need, collectively trying to build stronger roots so that our very own children /adults can grow and flourish in our world. We see the bigger picture. No one tells us what we need. We know. We see. We feel. We hear. We work. We create. We celebrate. - Judith, Anne & Patrick #Communitymatters #communityhelpingcommunity
