The Stand Proud Project

Did you know that the estimated percentage of children with autism to experience bullying at schools is 68%. We have seen the positive results in our community with all various programs, events and social opportunities. Friendships are important. Our Youth anti – bullying advocacy group offers those opportunities. They meet twice a month on Tuesdays – 6:30pm – 7:30pm for 60 minutes and learn lots of new ideas and self confidence strategies.

Fairness, respect and equality for every individual; eliminates bullying.

We know that experience plays an important role when dealing with these issues. The focus of this group is sharing prevention, coping skills, advocacy, role playing, support, and cheer leading.
